SECURITY

Security is part of the architecture

Direct SSH Connections

Normal SSH sessions are designed to connect your mobile device directly to your SSH server. SSH Remote backend is not an SSH proxy.

Client-side encryption

Cloud data is designed to be encrypted on the device before it reaches SSH Remote infrastructure.

SSH host key verification

Server fingerprints are shown on first connection and unexpected host key changes can be surfaced as a high-priority warning.

Private by design

SSH passwords, private keys and terminal command contents are not intended to be stored as readable backend logs.
